Our trip to the esplanade was really exciting. It was
a lovely still autumn day.

| We travelled there in a bus. |

| Our first activity was a scavenger hunt. We searched for items and looked for shapes. |

| Mythius found a straight twig and a curved twig. |
 |
| Our second activity was measuring trees. Mrs Woods showed the children how big the circumference of Tane Mahuta is. |
 |
The third activity was taking photos of the bush with the iPads and playing the the autumn leaves.

| Lastly, Mrs Adams took us on a bush walk. We identified trees and birds along the way. |
 |
| We also got to enjoy the playground at morning tea and lunchtime. |
